Today Skateboarding Legend Donny Barley came to NYC to stop by the shops in the city and say whats up. Along the way we stopped by KCDC for a ramp session after passing by Autumn, Supreme, Blades and Homage a full day to say the least, We wrapped up with an open session at The House Of Vans where just about all of the NYC family of skaters was in full effect.

My Friends Dream House
This is down in Gainesville Florida in a part of the city that used to be really hood. We use these shipping containers at 12th and A and they work great as a snack shack. A friend of mine back in Gville has devoted almost a year into developing this massive container living space in downtown Gville.

Today was super funny. I love how people keep a strait face the whole time. I road into union square with my mom today and there were thousands of people with no pants today.

Gainesville Skatepark
The new park looks super fun there was a bunch of kids ripping it today, but after riding my scooter 10miles in the freezing cold my hands and feet were frost bitten. I'll be there tomorrow good work G'ville!!! Go Gators!!!
Epic RZA Book
Julia gave me this book on Christmas eve and it was finished as I touched down in Gainesville yesterday. This book is an epic journey of the RZA and the events in his life that lead to the formation of the Wu Tang Clan the most influential Rap group of our generation. Along with great tales of NYC street survival of some of the most dangerous projects in New York. There is also a number of great lessons tough on Christianity, Buddha,Islam and life itself.
Great work and a must have for anyone who grew up skateboarding in the 90's.
